The Bridal Finery | Branded Boss Lady | Personal branding session
These gals are true gems in our wedding industry here in Orlando! I was thrilled when they asked me to photograph their Branded Boss Lady session. I have worked side by side with them many times but never had them in front of my camera so it was a real treat!
Meet Tali & Roberta, they are the owners of The Bridal Finery, a super chic wedding dress boutique in Winter Park. Their love of all designer gowns, attracted them to create a new concept bridal boutique; where gowns are sourced from couture designers, as well as former brides. Such an amazing concept and gorgeous shop, you must check them out! The Bridal Finery is a one of a kind wedding dress boutique which is nestled in the heart of the interior design district in Winter Park. As you walk in you immediately notice the bright, minimalistic and modern design with the dresses and accessories arranged almost as art pieces. The super cool piping dress racks that were custom made give the illusion of the dress floating, truly an awesome touch! One of my favorite pieces were the wooden accessory displays and shelving. And, I absolutely love that there is only one dressing room… this means you get the ENTIRE SHOP to yourself and an outstanding personalized experience with your best gals. This shop is a work of art and these gals have poured their love into it and it is easy to see they have a huge passion for serving their brides!
Meet Roberta… Roberta discovered her love of bridal fashion by creating custom looks for uniquely beautiful brides. Through her experience in the bridal industry, she understood how attractive it would be for a bride to have every couture designer under one roof. As Co-Owner of the The Bridal Finery, she is able to grant her brides access to one-of-a-kind designer gown, straight from the runway. By connecting with esteemed designers, she is able to select the highest quality gowns in couture bridal fashion for her brides. As a mother of two daughters, she believes that finding a wedding gown should be remarkable and memorable, and she is committed to giving an exceptional experience to every bride as if they were her own family. Born in Brazil, Roberta keeps pace with international fashion, has a true appreciation for multicultural weddings, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She is praised in the industry for her expert advice featured on Fox 35 News, as well as many other international publications. The Bridal Finery celebrates women in every shape, size, and height. Being a curvy woman herself, Roberta understands first hand the importance of carrying sizes 4 to 16. She humorously remembers her own challenges fitting into sample sizes in bridal. Roberta also knows how valuable a financial boost can be a the beginning of a marriage, and believes consigning a wedding dress is a wonderful opportunity to make that happen.
Meet Tali…After 13 years in bridal fashion working with the most prestigious designers including Oscar De La Renta, Ines Di Santo, Lela Rose, Monique Lhuillier, and Vera Wang; Tali launched her first bridal boutique. She didn’t want to be limited by the traditional ways of retail where you can only help brides with the lines you carry. Her love of all designer gowns, attracted her to create a new concept bridal boutique; where gowns are sourced from couture designers, as well as former brides. She knew the exquisite runway dresses that were never worn belonged to a deserving home. With her experience with master dressmakers and seamstresses, she knew she could restore a client’s dress back to pristine condition so another bride could enjoy it at a fraction of retail. During her engagement in 2014, she quickly realized the challenges today’s brides face. She had a five month engagement, paying for most of the wedding herself, while purchasing a home in College Park, Orlando. With her background in fashion, a designer wedding dress was the only way for her to feel confident walking down the aisle. Throughout her engagement and newlywed life, the idea of The Bridal Finery evolved. She decided if she was going to open a bridal boutique in Orlando, it had to be different and solve a problem. Combining preowned, sample sale, and made-to-order wedding dresses into one boutique experience was the answer!
