Our new kitchen | Gray and white kitchen remodel
We have been in our house for 11 years and I have dreamed of making it “my own”. I have always wanted to design a space filled with light that friends and family could gather. It started with a little dream a few years back and a huge commitment to save like crazy so that we could pay ALL CASH for this sweet little space. Definitely knew we did not want to go in debt for this. Our budget goal was $30k and we went a little over $1800 over that because I splurged on the waterfall countertop and backsplash. I HAD to have it running up the entire wall around the sink.
My brother and sister in law had their kitchen remodeled last year and recommend me to the BEST and I cannot stress that enough, contractor named Mike Cintino. This guy was top notch, as OCD about being clean and organized as I am AND he was ahead of schedule. I am telling you we truly lucked out! Happy to share his info with anyone looking for contractor, keep in mind he is booked out almost 6-8 months.
I started my design with a few swatches, a Pinterest board brimming with ideas and about 20 trips between Home Depot, Lowes, and Ikea. I wanted a space I could shoot in, gather in, hang with the family, cook amazing meals, practice yoga and meditation and simply relax. Gray and white with hint of pale blue were my main key colors, I wanted to keep it light, bright, airy and modern. My contractor suggested the cabinets and I knew I wanted dark lowers, I just love that look, and of course those gold pulls, hello!!
I hope you enjoy our sweet space and please feel free to ask any questions at all. I have also linked all places where we purchased items so you can enjoy them too.

I cannot thank the amazing Andrea from Amazon Stone enough, she was so incredibly helpful and helped me hunt down the perfect countertop. It was a last minute decision and I am so glad I decided to go for it. And I am so in love with that herringbone backsplash and the gold pulls<3If you didn’t notice already I have a teeny tiny obsession with orchids and own over 40 of them. I believe a happy house is filled with life and greenery. Love my Kitchenaid appliances!!! Fruit stand and paper towel holder from Target.Since we host Thanksgiving in our home every year and we always have 30 or so people there has never been enough counter space for all the goodies, I wanted to build a built in buffet just for this reason, oh and who the heck doesn’t love more storage?!?!
