This business is hard to describe. You have periods of wonderful chaos coupled with calm tranquility and finally followed by many, many more periods of reflection. Not many other businesses can let you look back with such clarity. And Matt and Leah’s wedding will be one that we look back on often. Leah was introduced through a friend named Cara, it seems that it was a fit that could not have been better. Amalie and Leah would meet to “discuss the wedding”, and what would follow were hours of talks about everything from the wedding to running a business and all the life that happens in between. When I would ask Amalie how it was, she would simply say this wedding is going to be awesome. She did not disappoint.
Matt and Leah did all the things to make their wedding awesome, the first and most important of which was to have fun. From the getting ready all the way through the reception these two never had to be reminded what this day was all about, each other. The ceremony ( Leah was walked down the aisle by her father and he officiated too), the party, the food ( oh yes they had a bacon bar), the dancing, the over all celebration, was definitely a reflection of who these two people are.
Matt and Leah, Amalie and I can not thank you enough, you are what make our job so great. You invited us in, trusted us, and we can not thank you enough for that.
Here’s to Mr. and Mrs. Zorn, may all your days be filled with as much excitement and fun as your wedding day.
