When we meet with clients, we always wonder if we could see ourselves being friends with these people. These people who invite us into their lives, share their day and all the moments that come with it. It’s almost as much us interviewing the clients as much as it is the clients interviewing us. See, we believe it’s so important to have that connection, not only for business, but for life.
But it really is something truly special when these people start off as friends as was the case with Lou and Marissa. We have known these two amazing people for a few years now and feel very lucky that we have. Lou and Marissa met later in life than some, but sometimes the best gifts in life are the ones you have to wait for. From the way Lou could not contain his nervous excitement to the way Marissa smiled at him while he wasn’t looking, all just solidified what I had already known, these two are meant for each other.
The backdrop for this day could not have been more perfect. From forts, to pirates, to pedicabs, in the oldest city in the United States, on a day when the weather was begging for something special to happen in it, Lou and Marissa joined two beautiful families into one.
Lou and Marissa, we are so honored that you guys had us with you on your wedding day, but even more than that, we are honored to be considered your friends.
Here’s to Lou and Marissa, may everyday be as happy as the day you each said “I do”.
XOXO, Amalie and Jeff
P.S. Marissa, Amalie says she will watch your dog any time you want her to.
