I have heard it said that there is nothing like southern hospitality. Well, I think the Midwest has its share of kindness as well. So, I guess this makes for a pretty good combination when you take two incredibly nice people out of Chicago to marry in the heart of the South. I was so excited when Brittany called me, she told me about her and Brad’s plans to have a rustic farm wedding here in Florida and I was thrilled to find out about their beautiful plans! Brittany and Brad, both live in the heart of Chicago but have a true love for the southern style. Brittany dreamed of a gorgeous outdoor wedding and knew exactly the place she wanted to have their southern soiree, at Brad’s Aunt’s house in Kissimmee Florida. There were horses, goats, ducks and huge 100 year old oak trees.
From the moment we met Brad and Brittany they treated us like old friends and whether you live in the South, North, East or West, that’s a good feeling. The smiles, laughs, hugs, looks, all came with such ease and so naturally, couple that with such an amazing backdrop decorated by an incredible stylist, (Sarah, you did a fantastic job) it made for such an easy task for us as photographers.
To Brittany and Brad may your love be as sweet as our tea in the south.
This little grasshopper landed on Brittany’s dressAnd, brought along a friend.
This is when Brittany realized that Brad had bought her an extra ring for her wedding band, yes two. We had a few little visitors, that goat was so sweet!
